A world cruise with a 60 metre private yacht sealed David's vocation. This led to Captaincy of the Emir of Qatar’s yacht 'Constellation' and subsequently the elegant Flying Fox.

JOE ARCH

After finishing his degree Joe moved to Poole and worked for the RNLI in their rewarding lifesaving program. After a few adventures decided to head to the south of France and pursue a career working at sea. 12+ years have now passed and Joe has completed a circumnavigation and sailed most of the world's oceans.

ANDREW RABETT

After a short time in the Army, Andrew worked as a Dive Master eventually securing his first position in the yachting industry. Andrew then went to Maritime College and graduated with his Unlimited Officer Of The Watch in 2011. in 2017 he graduated with his Chief Mates license and subsequently joined Flying Fox

JAMES BENDON

James started working on the water with local sailing boats and yacht clubs before pursuing his career in commercial shipping. Once completed his commercial training he endeavored to follow his passion back to yachting

COLIN MCGRATH

In 2010 Colin began studying to be a deck officer at the National Maritime College of Ireland from where he obtained his degree in Nautical Science. After qualifying Colin worked for 7 years in the cruise line industry before joining M.Y. Flying Fox

ROBERT PAWSON

Rob joined the Merchant Navy 7 years ago and completed his training on deep sea vessels traveling World Wide. After completing his training, he joined yachting in 2016 and quickly realised he had a love for yachts. He then began joined Flying Fox as a 3/O in January 2018 and has thoroughly enjoyed his journey so far.

ASH MANSFIELD

Ash started his career as a Royal Marine serving in numerous environments across Africa & the Middle East. Leaving the military after 12 years he then ventured into Maritime Security for the protection of vessels primarily transiting the Red Sea and Indian Ocean.

MIKI TOFTS

Miki spent his formative years in the Royal Marines and UK Special Forces, completing multiple tours of Iraq and Afghanistan.

POLLY ANDERSON

Polly has worked within the National Health Service (NHS) for a total of 6-years, and has been a qualified Paramedic working on Ambulances in Bristol City Centre for 3-years. Alongside this, she has worked on the Isle of Wight as a Paramedic, whilst also working in Hospitals around the UK.ep up to date with essential nursing skills.

RUTH MAY

Ruth has been balancing work as a Registered Nurse on small and large motor yachts and the hospital setting for over 5 years now. Having been lucky enough to travel to some of the most beautiful spots in the world, Ruth has also seen it as a priority to further educate herself in the healthcare setting and keep up to date with essential nursing skills.

THOMAS WILKINS

Tom Started his sea going career on container ships and ferries. He first moved to yachts in 2006 sailing on a 35m then 50m before moving to MY Constellation (80m) were he sailed for 11 years rising to the rank of Chief Engineer.

ADRIAN GEORGESON

After completing his cadetship on container ships, Adrian moved to cruise ships. He sailed on the RMS QM2 for 5 years and moving up to 2nd Engineer. In 2008 Adrian joined his first yacht MY Rising Sun; serving 6 years before moving to the world traveling MY VAVA II.

NICK MOORE

After leaving school Nick joined the Royal Navy where he spent 13 years, 10 of those in the Submarine service.    In 2013 he left the Royal Navy to pursue a career in the AV/IT industry on board superyachts where he has worked on yachts such as S/Y Maltese Falcon and M/Y Rising Sun.

Rey has a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology.

BENJAMIN KIRK

Growing up, he has always had a passion for the ocean through surfing and the coastal lifestyle. In the search for the work and travel lifestyle, Ben began building boats as an apprentice which lead to him completing his trade as a qualified boat builder. He has worked in the marine industry since 2008 and is the ships carpenter.

BILLY KING

Billy Joined yachting in 2013 on the previous Flying Fox as a junior deckhand. A few years later, he was promoted to the role of Bosun and then when the opportunity arose, he was asked to join the build project as Bosun on new Flying Fox. Once the vessel went into operation, he was offered the permanent role of Bosun and has since been promoted to Deck Mate.

MIKE RICHARDSON

Starting with boat building and then moving onto crewing yachts. He has been around the water all his life and involved in a wide variety of Watersports from a young age.

ROSS MACFARLANE

He is a keen watersports fanatic, always found with a spring in his step and a smile on his face. He is a Kiteboarding Instructor, PADI Scuba Dive Instructor, Jet Ski Instructor and an avid wakeboarder/wakesurfer. Ross has been in the yachting industry for over 5 years working on vessels ranging from 60 meters up to 140 meter

Tim eventually made the move to Europe where he worked as a Land Based Travelling PA for a Suadi Royal Family in villas in Italy and Ibiza. From there, he joined yachting in 2012, working on various high profile charter vessels and quickly rose to the rank of Chief Steward.

After completing a degree in Psychology, she joined the yachting industry in 2017 which triggered her love for travel and the ocean. Since joining Flying Fox, she has been recently promoted to Second housekeeper due to the dedication to her work and her enthusiasm in all aspects of life.

After completing her studies in Health Sciences at Stellenbosch University, Annik decided to follow her dream to work abroad on Cruise Liners. She was then drawn to working on

yachts as a Stewardess, sailing around the world over the past 10 years.

Christie began her career at sea as a professional performer aboard the Norwegian GEM, NYC. Most recently she has been working aboard ex maxi racing yachts as a deckhand/stew. Christie is a fully qualified hairdresser and managed 3 salons.

Sam has been in the yachting industry for 7 years. She has had the pleasure of working on a variety of vessels and has enjoyed expanding her knowledge from all of her experiences.

Jamie has been in the industry for over 6 years on yachts of all different sizes cruising worldwide from the Red Sea and Indian Ocean, to South Georgia and Antarctica.

Charlotte has previously worked in land based Spas' but much prefers the water and has had experience working on a cruise ship with extremely vast itinerary before finding her love for the lifestyle and incredible experiences working on super yachts.

Rebekah has worked in the luxury Spa & hospitality industry for 10+ years, 6 of those years onboard yachts. After discovering a strong interest for the human body, she specialised in sports massage & is highly passionate about anything & everything spa related.

KYLE REDFERN

Kyle's has worked as a chef for 20 years in London, through Spain, Brazil, Switzerland and finally in Australia. Kyle's career has taken him from classic gastro/ bistro establishments in Sussex, working in London's fine dining scene to Private members clubs in Verbier, Switzerland. Kyle discovered yachting 4 years ago and hasn't left the charter world since!

William has spent many years learning his trade in some of the UK’s finest establishments working very closely with some of the greatest chefs. William has since moved onto yachting a private dining which has opened up some truly exceptional experiences and some unusual challenges all over the world.
